Overview
Routeeny is a mobile app that improves the caregiver and childcare experience, including babysitting, elderly care and pet/home sitting by providing caregivers the tools needed to provide the best care possible.

The mobile app provides a number a features to facilitate the caregiver process, including but not limited to:

Routeeny launched in May of 2022.
Bio
Founder and CEO, Kristen Williams incepted the idea for Routeeny while planning to leave her 5 year old and six month old for the day with her mother-in-law. After struggling to capture all the information she wanted to convey via pen and paper, Kristen realized not only how tedious and stressful the process of leaving her children was, but how potentially harmful it could be if details were forgotten. She set off on a mission to create a simple solution for parents and caregivers everywhere.
Kristen grew up in rural VT and had her first job baby-sitting when she was 11 years old, learning at a young age the weighty responsibility of caring for others. Kristen studied Corporate Communications in college, launching her career at a high-tech PR firm outside Boston. She soon transitioned o Property Management when she moved to Austin, TX to be with her future husband. She and her husband, Travis, had their first son, Austin in 2015 and Kristen stepped out of her Property Management role to assume the role of full-time caregiver. Four years later, Kristen gave birth to their daughter, Raven.

Kristen and her family still reside in Austin, TX, where they enjoy all things outdoors, hanging with their amazing community, and practicing a sustainable lifestyle to help combat climate change.

Routeeny’s mission is to provide sitters and secondary caregivers the tools needed to provide the best care possible, while reducing guardian stress and maintaining consistency and security for their loved ones. The mobile app provides a number a features to facilitate the caregiver process, including but not limited to: detailed schedule entry, emergency contact list, house instructions such as wifi passwords, video and photo uploads to help with explanations, and detailed profiles in which guardians can enter their loved ones favorite foods, entertainment ideas, behavior notes, and medical information.

With an aging population and rapidly growing need for affordable, high-quality childcare, there is an urgent need for industry support. Numerous mobile applications have emerged in the past decade that focus on finding and hiring caregivers, however, none of these provide tools for the caregiving process itself. Routeeny fills this void by addressing the many nuances of the caregiving job, preventing important information from being lost in translation.

Routeeny follows a Fremium monetization model, in which subscribers receive most of the apps features for free, and for a yearly subscription cost, have access to several additional features. The cost for the upgraded version is $14.99 per year. Routeeny plans on launching an Android version by December of this year.
