At Routeeny, we believe that leaving the ones you love in the care of others should not be a stressful experience. We believe that caregivers should be able to seamlessly integrate into the lives of kids, pets and seniors without missing a beat. We also believe that refrigerators are meant for food, not sticky notes.

How Routeeny Came to Be

​

I was preparing to leave my one-year-old and five-year-old for a full day to attend a friend's wedding. My mother-in-law asked if I could “jot down” a typical day’s schedule before we left. No problem. About fifteen sheets of wasted computer paper and 15,000 murdered brain cells later, we were both more confused than ever as we looked down at the piece of paper that more closely resembled a hidden treasure map than a set of instructions.

Then it dawned on me, there has to be an “app for that", right? I searched and searched and came up empty handed. Routeeny was born.

Routeeny’s mission is three-fold: 1) ease the burden of guardians when leaving the ones they love in the care of others, 2) increase the feeling of safety and security for loved ones when left in the care of others, and 3) provide caregivers with the tools they need to feel confident and successful on the job.
